Well hello! I don’t know about you, but I am ready for the weekend. All day today I kept thinking that it was Friday. Bummer.
The third of the month in the banking world is always busy, so as you can imagine the day went by pretty fast. Before I knew it, five o’clock rolled around and it was time to head home! After thinking it was Friday all day long and being greatly disappointed that it wasn’t, heading home made me smile.
Overnight Oats: 1/2 cup of Old Fashion Oats, 1 tsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of wheat berries, 1/2 tbsp of flax, 1 cup of Unsweetened coconut/almond milk, and 1 tbsp of Barney Almond Butter. Yum!
Brown Rice/Quinoa mix, roasted brussels sprouts, baked Cod, and roasted sweet potatoes.
I had a Clementine on the side, but was pretty full after the meal.
2 Omega 3 Eggs with spinach and sausage scramble. One 90 Calorie English Muffin on the side.
I had already decided to run two miles when I got home, but then I thought I would do the first 30 minutes of Amy Dixon’s Tabata workout. But as I finished the first half I thought to myself…”hmmm, I can keep going!!” So I did! Over an hour of sweating!
Things that make me smile:
- A baby laughing
- my niece and nephew
- feeding my cat peanut butter
- an inside joke with my best friend
- a great comedy
- my brother, when we get together (we’re like little kids!)
- my parents holding hands
- when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy end up together at the end of Pride and Prejudice
- a great cup of coffee
- my favorite passage in the bible: Jeremiah 29:11
I really could go on and on, because there are so many things that make me smile.
