Hey guys!! How has your Tuesday been?? Mine has just flown by! I had to work today, but only until noon. Ahh, I love half days.
I must say though, 4:15 was a very long time ago. This is my routine…. I get up, drink my super juice of distilled water and apple cider vinegar, chase it with 12 ounces of water, then I feed the cats, make myself a cup of coffee, have some quiet time and then catch an episode of MidSomer Murders. Yes, I am still addicted. While watching MM’s, I catch up on some blog reading too… I have been saving my workouts for the evening because I am still doing different types of at-home Crossfit and Tabata workouts. I have also been running. Not much, but incorporating it in there. Tonight? Three miles.

While I was near a Whole Foods today, I ran by there to pick up Kevin a Valentines Day gift…
He’s pretty special.
Dinner:
My favorite meal……ever.
I have also been baking this banana bread like crazy!! I followed this recipe…. So good!
So Kevin and I were talking about childhood books last night and one of my favorite books growing up was Puff the Magic Dragon. It’s actually based off of the song, but I knew that I still had that book around here somewhere. So I went digging.
Remember this???
That Strawberry Shortcake book has a record in it! The book in the middle was my first experience reading a book where someone dies. I remember feeling so sad after reading that book… it’s still a great story.
And finally, The Velveteen Rabbit. Oh my goodness, I loved this book.
I read the coolest thing the other day while doing my devotional and I wanted to share it with you:
Worries carry responsibilities that belong to God, not to you. Worry does not enable us to escape evil; it makes us unfit to cope with it when it comes.
I have been working on several things this past month. Some have to do with diet and exercise and others have to do with spiritual and well-being. I wanted to share some of the things that I have been working on:
- No processed sugar. I have cut out any sugary candy, chocolate or cookies.
- daily devotional
- more water. Some days this comes very easy to me, but other days I could just down a big coke. I have only had water for a solid month now.
- Three 8 oz glasses of distilled water with apple cider vinegar a day.
- less stressing over my workouts. I have found that if I don’t stress over missing a workout or worrying about what I am going to do for the day, the workouts come.
It’s not a whole lot, but has made a huge difference in my life. I have dropped five pounds and feel really good! Meeting Kevin has just been the cherry on top.
Did I tell you he is a Crossfiter??
Later guys!! Have a great night!!

I am still working on more water too. I was just sent that apple vinegar and need to work on actually taking it
I love it! Let me know what you think if you try it!
This just put a huge smile on my face
I love what you have been working on, especially that less stress over workouts, and that quote is awesome, so thank you for sharing
Kevin is a lucky man, Brandi!
Thank you Caitlin! Thank you for being an ear for me when I needed one!
Glad to hear you are running again. Are you going to join crossfit now?
