Good Sunday morning to you! I hope you are having a great weekend! I had to work yesterday, but had the best day. After I left work yesterday, I went and picked up some coffee for a friend and I and drove over to her house. We were going to meet somewhere, but her house is really nearby so we decided to just go there and chill out. Speaking of chill…..It was COLD yesterday! In fact, when I left for work it was just barely snowing! Of course by the time I left my friends house, which was around 3:00, the sun was coming out.
Arkansas weather for ya!
It turned out to be a really pretty day. I’m really glad that it did because yesterday was my mom’s birthday.
Around 6:00 my brother, Lynn and the kiddo’s came over to celebrate! No pictures, but we had the best time. We ate homemade pizza and cake! I mean who wouldn’t have a good time around those two food groups? I did opt to have only one small slice, broccoli and some sweet potato wedges. Instead of cake, which was really hard to avoid, I opted for a banana nut bread muffin (small) and 1 tbsp of almond butter on top, then heated up in the microwave for about 12 seconds. So good.
We talked and talked and then they had to get the kids home…![]()
Brothers…. I was telling my sister-n-law about Kevin last night and I was doing some pretty big gushing and then out from the living room I hear, “I’m gonna throw up.” Lol! Ahhh, brothers…..Love ‘em!
While at my friends house yesterday, she also fed me!
Yum right?
Breakfast:
Workout:
With all of the comings and going yesterday, my workout disappeared. I mean it just didn’t happen, but you know what? I am totally okay with that.
When I get home from church I am going to run one mile and then do Jackie Warner’s upper body workout.
I also got these yesterday (by text) from my sweet man….
Boy we are counting down the days until we see each other!
Just 54 days until we get to see each other!!
It’s supposed to be really pretty today and I can’t wait to get some sunshine! I really try very hard not to “work” on Sunday, but I do have a few things planned…
- I have GOT to wash my car. I mean whew!! It’s bad people, bad.
- Straighten my closet. Nothing to bad, just kind of get my clothes back in order. Shouldn’t take too long.
- Organize my recipes. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time.
- Get my lunches/meals ready for next week. I am going to try really hard to plan out my dinners today!!
I’m loving this song right now! Strangely Dim by Francesca Battistelli
