Morning folks! Last night I went to bed pretty early and it felt so good! When my alarm went off at 5:15 this morning, I was ready to hit my workout. Day 9 of the BodyRock 2012 Challenge and I am still loving it!
But, before I get to this morning, let me finish out yesterday. I knew that I was going to be doing BodyRock once I got home yesterday, so around 4:30 I grabbed a snack of almonds, peanuts and grapes. The grapes were so good and crisp!
I drank a lot of water yesterday….I mean A LOT. I haven’t done that in a while and I felt a big difference when I was working out. The BodyRock workouts are short, but they are super hard.
Last nights dinner was SO good! I bought these ToFurky links a while back and forgot that I had them. There is 29 grams of protein in one link! There is quite a bit of sodium, but it was still good.
Sweet potato wedges and some roasted green beans topped off the meal. 🙂
This morning’s workout was really hard!! But only 4 moves!!
- push-up+burpee+squat jump
- Abs (elbow to knees, legs are kept straight)
- squat jumps w/weights
- combo of 10 Mt climbers and 10 toe touches
I was drenched when I finished this workout. Remember to do each move for 50 seconds and then rest for 10. Do this circuit three times through and you have your workout! It took me 16 minutes to do this. Who doesn’t have 16 minutes!?
I have a run scheduled for today, but I am meeting some girlfriends for a girls night! I haven’t done this in a long time. I am a bit of a homebody. :/ I would even say that I am not very social. Most of my friends are married and have children so it’s hard to get together. I am super excited though and will post pics…..probably tomorrow. ;) Three day weekend!! I will get my run in on Saturday🙂
Post workout, I went for the English Muffin, banana, and nut butter combo….This is a great breakfast after a workout.
Holy cow it was good!
My youngest “child” stayed under my feet the entire time I was getting breakfast ready. My lil man Rocky…
