Just Relax :)

Morning!  I hope everyone is having a great Saturday so far.  🙂  I was able to sleep in (8:00!!) and that felt amazing.  I probably could have just stayed in bed, but I would have felt like I had slept the day away.  No big plans this weekend, but I am hoping to catch up with my BF Angey later today. 

Yesterdays Breakfast:

  • 1/3 cup of old fashion oats
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of 35 Cal almond milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of chia seeds
  • 1/2 scoop of whey protein powder
  • 1 tbls of Dark Chocolate Dreams



Today’s Breakfast:

  • 1 cup of 35 Cal almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup of frozen cherries
  • 1 tbls mealed flax
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 handful of Kale
  • 1 scoop of Whey protein powder


Yesterday’s Lunch:


Campbell’s Select Tomato soup and a tuna melt sandwich



We had a bake sale/donation deal at work yesterday to raise funds for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and lets just say there were tons of cookies everywhere!!  I think I actually lost count of how many I ate!  AGH!


I read this devotion this morning and thought that I would share it with you:

Come to Me, and rest in My loving Presence.  You know that this day will bring difficulties, and you are trying to think your way through those trials.  As you anticipate what is ahead of you, you forget that I am with you–now and always.  Rehearsing your troubles results in experiencing them many times, whereas you are meant to go through them only when they actually occur.  Do no multiply your suffering in this way!  Instead, come to Me, and relax in My Peace.  I will strengthen you and prepare you for this day, transforming your fear into confident trust.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Yoke=A bar of wood that was used to unite two animals.

Workout:  The Firm Cardio Fusion.  This workout felt great!  It incoroporated some stretching and lengthening moves.  No high impact moves.  All about muscle recovery!

    I did some serious sleeping in this weekend, too! It feels like such a treat. And just the thing after a busy week 🙂 Hope the rest of your weekend was relaxing and fun!
