Crazy Thoughts Saturday

on May 19, 2012

Morning!  After finally getting a full day of rest and a full day of medicine, I feel so much better.  The cough is still hanging on, but it’s such a drastic change.  🙂  I can’t wait to feel normal again!

There is nothing like being sick to really get down on yourself about body image.  You can’t work out, you don’t want to eat right, you feel lazy.  You start to notice all of these things wrong with your body and on top of the fact that you can’t work out, these body parts that you don’t like become even more of an issue.

Ridiculous huh?  It really is!  I mean why in the world do we do that to ourselves?

It all boils down to what people think of us.  Well, for me anyway.  This is something that I struggle with all of the time.  Whether it’s at work, or just going out with friends, I have often wondered the thoughts going on in their heads.  Lame, I know.

Because here’s the deal.  It just doesn’t matter.  Our worth isn’t found in self or in others.  Our worth is found in the One who created us.  Christ makes me worthy, and He is definitely worthy.

Breakfast:

Coco-Mango Smoothie:

  • 1/3 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of frozen Mango
  • 2 scoops of Visalus
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coconut extract
  • 3 ice cubes

So I know that crazy thoughts are hard to push away.  But that is just what they are!  Crazy!

I am off to take a shower so that I can feel whole again.  🙂   Have a great day 🙂

You are beautifully and wonderfully made by God. You have all of that going for you and you also have a sweet personality. You might be too hard on yourself, but I realize that we all do have issues that keep cropping up. I do and I’m sure others do too, if they admit it…….that’s the human side of us. Luv u girl!

  2. Wow… “Christ makes us worthy and he is definitely worthy”. So freaking true. Thank you for that needed reminder. You are beautiful inside and out! Glad you are feeling better, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
