Living in today

on July 17, 2012

Morning!  How are you???  I slept so great last night!  I don’t remember a thing once I rolled over and closed my eyes.

So yesterday was a good day!  Lately, that is all I can ask for. 🙂   I love it when everything just falls into place.  This would probably mean that I don’t like change.  Hmmm??  Anyway, everything worked yesterday.  Workout (even though it was humid), food, and outlook.  Yesterday is in the past, and we can’t worry about tomorrow.  I read something in my devotion this morning:

Don’t waste energy regretting the way things are or thinking about what might have been.  Start at the present moment–accepting things exactly how they are–and search for My way in the midst of those circumstances.  Jesus Calling

I think that I had a little bit of everything yesterday, but everything was so good.  Remember breakfast?

Mid-morning snack:

I stuck to my meal plan and went with a Clementine

Salad!  🙂

Afternoon Snack:

Finished off the strawberries!

Night Snack:

  • 1 oz of 70% dark chocolate
  • palm full of Udi’s gluten-free granola
  • 1 tsp of decaf instant coffee

Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 15 to 20 second intervals as to not burn it.  Once it’s melted add the instant coffee and give it a stir, then add the granola and continue to stir it up!  I put it in a smaller container and then put it in the refrigerator.  Holy goodness this was good and definitely a keeper!  I am going to try it with raisins next time. 🙂

Starting my day with some arms and ending it with some yoga.  🙂  Ahhhhh 🙂

Meal plan for today:

Breakfast:    1 piece of gluten-free toast and two eggs

Snack:    Clementine

Lunch:    Salad and half an apple

Snack:    Applesauce

Dinner:    Tuna Melt with veggies and 1 cup of tomato soup

Snack:    Dark chocolate smores

I have also packed up some cherries just in case I get hungry during the day. 🙂

Have a great day!! 🙂
