An Apple a day!

on August 7, 2012

Morning!   I hope your Monday wasn’t too cruel.  Mine was spent in bed due to the dizziness that Vertigo causes……….so not fun.  It did get better by the afternoon and the nausea finally went away.  I feel loads better this morning, but my balance is still a bit off.

This stuff is addicting!

Funny thing.  Have you ever fed nut butter to a cat?  As I was preparing this last night, Ghost really wanted a taste.  It’s the funniest thing!

I am kind of in the mood for oats this morning.  Not sure why, but I wanting something creamy and warm.  It is like 80 * outside already, so why I would want this I am not sure.  🙂  Maybe I am really looking forward to fall and winter.  Several stores are already putting out fall decorations and such and I love this part of the holidays.  Ahhh decorating.  I really need to paint my room before fall gets here…..One of my projects that I need to do this week.  We are having a Christian concert at my church this weekend so Saturday is out for painting, but I still may squeeze some painting in between work and the concert.  🙂

Workout:

I haven’t run in like 4 days and I miss it terribly!  I really need balance to stay on the treadmill, so I am waiting for this to pass.  I hope to be able to get a run in by tomorrow or Thursday.

Meal Plan:

Breakfast:    oatmeal with nut butter and 1 slice of toast

Snack:    clementine

Lunch:    pasta bowl with:  chicken, corn, black beans, seasoning, and penne pasta

Snack:   protein bar

Dinner:    roasted veggies/chicken

Snack:    ??

Have a great day!

  1. One of my favorite quotes right there. I haven’t been having as many apples because they are a bit expensive but I have been craving them lately. I used to eat so many.

  2. Oh man! Now I feel as though I should feed some to my kitty! 🙂

  3. So sorry to hear of your vertigo :S That doesn’t sound good at all, and I hope you’re feeling 100% by now. I also understand your desire for fall – I always want the cooler months, they just feel cozier and nicer to me 🙂

  4. oh my gosh…take care over there girlie!!! i can’t imagine feeling dizzy like that, and i actually had a friend come down with Vertigo and i know how horrible that can be! i hope u’re feeling better soon…i’ll be sending positive, non-dizzy thoughts ur way!
