Typical Monday

on August 27, 2012

Hello!     I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend, wherever you are. 🙂

After church yesterday, I was going to come home and finish up mowing the lawn, but I came home to this…

So what did I do?    I decided to take a nap, well at least lay down and rest.  🙂

Last night at church we started two new bible studies that I am pretty excited about.  Some of the women in the church are going through a Beth Moore study about Insecurities.  If you haven’t read the book So Long Insecurity, You been a very bad friend to Us.  It’s a great book!!   It’s going to be about a 6 week bible study and I love the opportunity to get together with some great ladies at my church!

The second bible study is called, Experiencing God.  I have done this study before, but it was quite a while back.  It’s an in-depth study of how God is working already and all around us, and he invites us to be apart of it.  So many times I miss out on what He is doing around me and that means that I also miss out on super cool ways to grow in my relationship with Him and helping others.   The study is by Henry Blackaby.

Workout:

I am going to head over to my friend’s house to get my run on right after work.  🙂

I will be at work all day because my boss is going to be off, so I will be ready to come home after my run.  I can’t wait for this weekend though.  I will be heading to see my parents to spend a little bit of time with them.  Kind of excited!  I love the place where they are at….Mt View AR.  It’s extremely laid back and has the coolest antique places to shop, coffee shops, and bluegrass music.  Yes, I am a fan.  🙂

I am off to make some breakfast!  I hope you have a great day!
