Thank you.

Morning my friends!   And how was your Monday?  If you were off, did you do anything special??

My Monday was pretty uneventful.  It was a scheduled rest day and I took full, I mean full advantage of it.  Let’s see, I didn’t put on any make-up at all and I can’t tell you how much I love doing that.  I always love to let my face breath when I can.  Smile

If it wasn’t for having to get a few things at the grocery store, I probably wouldn’t have even gotten out of my lounge pants.  I know, it was great!

I was able to at least get one thing accomplished.  My mom and I started pricing our yard sale items.  How in the world do we accumulate so much stuff??  It really made me think about the things that I purchase and if I really am going to need (or want) it in a few months.  Most of the things that I went through were things that I brought home from where I used to live.

One egg, half of a Gala apple, and one pumpkin spiced waffle.

On the schedule today?   An easy two mile run.  I am also going to do an easy yoga session.

I think that I might have had too much caffeine yesterday.  Going to fix that today!  I am on my second cup and I am stopping there!

Yesterday was Veterans Day.  The day that we thank all of the past, present and future men and women who have defended out country.  My father was in Vietnam during the 67-68 tour and I am so thankful that he was able to come home.  My papa (mom’s father) served in WWII and was at Iwo Jima.  I am very proud of the fact that my family has had a direct effect on the freedoms that we have as a country.  I felt very proud as I voted this year of that fact.  Whether or not I like both candidates didn’t matter, I had a voice.  I appreciate the sacrifices of the men and women so much and I thank them for it.

I love you Dad.

Other than my run, I am not sure what else I am going to do today.  It’s very pretty outside and the temperature is a little cool.  The high today isn’t even going to get out of the 50’s.  I love this!  I do need to go somewhere where I can make a disk of some pictures.  Probably Wal-mart again.  Smile

I hope you have a great day!  Happy Tuesday!!
