I heart eggs.

Morning Sunshine’s!!   It’s Thursday.  My working mind will be thinking that it’s Monday all day!  It may actually make for a long day, but I am hoping not.  Smile

It’s super cold outside!  32 degrees!   I am sure it’s colder somewhere else, but for Arkansas…..that’s cold.  I had to bundle up just to get a picture of my coffee this morning.   Oh what a blogger will do for good lighting!

So this morning I wanted some eggs for breakfast.  Two in fact.  Smile

Benefits of Eggs:

  1. They are good for your eyes
  2. one egg carries 6 grams of protein and all 9 essential amino acids.
  3. they are a good source of choline.  one egg yolk contains 300 mg of choline and this is used to regulate the brain, nervous system and cardiovascular system.
  4. Eggs contain the right kind of fat
  5. Naturally contains vitamin D
  6. promotes hair and nail strength
  7. One study shows that it may help prevent breast cancer.

I heart eggs.

I am actually excited to get back to work.  I am such a creature of habit and really do like routine, so to get back on some sort of schedule makes me smile.  Smile   Although I work with people who have no concept of time, I try to make adjustments.

Workout:

On the schedule today?  An easy paced 4 mile run.

I hope you have a great day!

What about you, do you like eggs??  What is your favorite way to have them??

  1. I have to agree, eggs are my jam. I adore egg whites in anything, the yolks I only like runny.

At least it’s a Monday that jumps straight to Friday 🙂 I hope the day goes well!

  3. i usually have an egg or 2 most mornings. I usually have them scrambled or hard boiled. But I have been making my own version of a fritata with a carton of egg whites and some chopped ham.
