A quick pop in

Just popping in for a quick hello. Smile   I’m not feeling all that great and I think the cold bug has landed on me.  I ended up doing yesterday’s speed drill at night and it was a bit damp and cold out. 

 

When I got up this morning at 5:00, I noticed that I was a bit congested but just blew it off.  I even tackled my long run once I got home from church.  Which went well by the way! 

 

Workout:

7 Mile Long Run:

Mile One:    9.09

Mile Two:    9.06

Mile Three:    9.06

Mile Four:    8.57

Mile Five:    8.54

Mile Six:    8.49

Mile Seven:    8.50

Total Time:    1:02:56

Average Pace:    8.59

 

 

 

I really tried to stay at an easy pace due to my IT band issues.  This was the first long run that I have had in two weeks.  Remember last Sunday’s run?   Thankfully this one was much different. 

Once I finished, I got cooled off and ate some lunch, but then I wanted to lay down for a bit before heading out to a community Thanksgiving service.  When I got up however, I took my temp and it was 99.9.  Not good.  My normal temperature is 97.6, so even at 99.9 I feel bad.  So instead of spreading the germs to everyone else, I opted to stay at home.
