Happy thanksgiving!

on November 22, 2012

I hope and pray that you have a had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Smile   Amid coughing my lungs up, I have had a great day being around my family even though I was doped up on meds and slept through half of it.

This raddle in my chest is just plain frustrating!  But, I guess I just have to give it time to work itself out.

My Aunt made the best White chocolate bread pudding……I mean, oh my goodness it was amazing!

And of course my mom makes the best pecan and pumpkin pies…. Ever.

So as you can see there was plenty to eat and then some.  Winking smile

Are you guys going to be hitting up an great sales tomorrow?  Anything in particular that you want??   I am not big on Black Friday, but I know that there are going to be lots of great things on sale.  I will be stuck at work all day and then I am going to come home and rest.  I am hoping that after 24 hours of medicine I will be filling better.

As this year come to an end, I am so thankful for it.  Thankful for each moment that I have and for my family and friends.  I don’t know if I told you or not, but I had a close friend (Diahann) move away to Ohio this past week.  I miss her terribly and can’t wait to plan a trip to see her.  True to her nature (she is always thinking of others), she has already scoped out a Starbucks and a Trader Joes.  Smile   <<I have never been to a TJ’s.

I am thankful for the breath that I have and for the ability to walk around and live.  I am thankful for parents that introduced me to Christ and brought me up in a home that had lots and lots of love in it.  I am thankful for parents that love each other and still hold hands.  I am thankful for positive roll models such as my sister-n-law Lynn.  Beautiful inside and out, she is such an amazing woman.  Her faith and relationship that she has with Christ is something that I strive for everyday.

I am also thankful for you.  Thankful that I get to share my life with some amazing people and amazing women at Fit Approach.  Being able to share the ups and downs of a healthy lifestyle is something that I really do enjoy.  Getting to know others through their own words is one of the coolest gifts in the blogging world.  So I thank you for that.

I hope that you are blessed beyond what you can imagine today and everyday.
