Happy Saturday my friends, happy Saturday.  Smile    Ahhh, how I have waited for this day to get here.  Sleeping in, laying in my pj’s all day, drinking coffee all morning, you know….the usual stuff.  No seriously, I am going to be spending my day organizing most of my yard sale items and getting some more things priced.  Oh I can’t wait for that to be done!

I will also be thinking about my man Kevin.  He’s a sweetie and he makes my tummy do flips.  ❤

I also wanted to share some information with you about Apple Cider Vinegar.

 

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar:

 

  • Aids in lowering blood pressure

  • In a bath, it helps reduce the effects of a sunburn

  • Helps maintain sugar levels

  • skin health.  (it can be used as a toner)
  • balances the bodies PH levels   (Your blood is supposed to be slightly alkaline, but just as poor diet and lifestyle habits harm your inner ecosystem, they also harm the pH balance of your blood. As your blood becomes acidic, the stage is set for illness. Apple cider vinegar helps restore your body’s pH)

How do I take it?  I take 8 ounces of distilled water and put 1 tbsp of ACV in it and down she goes.  It’s the first thing I do when I get up in the morning and then I chase it down with about 12 ounces of filtered water.  Ahh, got to keep yourself hydrated!  I drink this before breakfast, but I also drink it before lunch and dinner.

Let me just say that it’s not for everybody…  In fact, when I asked my mother to try it, she couldn’t even get it down.  I will also tell you this, that first one in the morning is pretty stout.  Winking smile  But it has really helped me a lot!  Eating better, cutting out processed sugars, and drinking this everyday is what has helped in aiding the weight loss.  Just four to go and I will have lost 20 pounds! 

 

How to choose the right ACV:

 

  • Look for ones that say “unfiltered” 
  • Unpasteurized.  This contains the “mother” (a natural sediment with pectin, trace minerals, beneficial bacteria, and enzymes) all which you can see floating at the bottom of the bottle.
  • Organic.  choosing ACV that used organic apples is a great way to maximize the minerals and minimize the exposure to pesticides. 

 

 

 

It’s really important to remember that what works for some may not work for all.  I know lots of people that have tried ACV and just can’t stomach it.  It’s also important to remember that I am not a doctor or someone prescribing ACV.  I’m just someone who it’s worked really well for and wanted to share my findings.  Winking smile
