A bit sore and orange sherbert

on March 28, 2013

Morning my friends!   How are you on this Thursday morning?  After taking the day off to head to the oral surgeon for one of the last steps in getting my braces all finished up, it’s back to work today!  Yesterday, I had some teeth extracted so that the braces can do their job.  I’ll be honest, once the teeth came out I was like….”what the heck just happened??”  The teeth were perfectly good teeth, but in order for my teeth to move, they had to come out.

There is some swelling around the areas and some soreness, but other than that it’s all good.  Of course, my dinner last night was a bowl of orange sherbert.  I mean who can argue with that!  Holy cow it was so good!  I hadn’t had it in such a long time!

Today I will be sticking to jello, pudding, and soup.  I did get to have coffee this morning!!

I wanted to say thank you for allowing me to post such a heavy post yesterday.  I really want to stay positive and upbeat around FF&L, but I think that having moments like that are part of life too.  I wanted you guys to know that I struggle with things like that too and how important it is to acknowledge those times.  It’s also important to know that I can’t stay in those moments for very long.

What’s so great about the blogging community is that you stumble along other people with same struggles…  Danica over at It’s Progression is on a super vacation and had Elizabeth from My Neon Running Shoes do a guest post and it went right along with what I had been struggling with!

Workout:

Of course with not being able to eat a whole lot and well let’s just say it….. bleeding a bit.  I didn’t workout yesterday.  I am going to get back at it today!  Still sticking to the 30 Day Shred by Jillian…

Breakfast:

Not the healthiest, but one egg mixed with some egg whites and some lime jello.

When I did venture out yesterday to get the above said orange sherbert….  I did see this and was wondering if any of you guys had tried it??

Well that’s about it guys…I hope you have a great day!  I will check ya later! Smile

Orange sherbert for dinner sounds perfect (whether you have your teeth taken out or not 😉 ). Pretty sure froyo for dinner is going to happen one of these days…first warm day we have, I’m demanding a walk over to Razzy Fresh instead of a home cooked meal and we’re doing it!! Happy Thursday, love 🙂

  2. I am so intrigued by those dippers! I am glad you are taking it easy. Hopefully the jello is starting to taste good, i would stick with ice cream if I were you!

  3. ice cream sounds great 🙂 and those dippers are interesting!

I’m glad that guest post could resonate with you girl…and just remember that you shouldn’t ever be sorry for posting about that “heavier” life-stuff–we all go through tough times, that’s just part of life, and I know that someone out there can relate specifically to the situations you share about too!
