A little hiking and a little baking

on April 22, 2013

Yay!!  It’s Monday!  How was your day?  I hope you had a good one!  What did you do this weekend?

After church yesterday, I went on a little hike….

I went by myself and really enjoyed it.  Of course there were other people there, but it allowed me to think and pray.  It was a bit muddy, but thankfully there were plenty of rocks to walk on!  I also saw a little green snake.  Well, I actually stepped on it and it kind of startled me.  Lol!  I should have take a picture of it, but I didn’t think about it until after it had crawled away….

I am really glad that things are getting back to normal.  I mean when we have our hearts set on something and it doesn’t happen it’s disappointing sure, but it’s how we deal with it that matters.

When I came home from work today I wanted to do a little baking…

I really do love to bake!  It’s something that keeps me focused on something and I love the result.  These really turned out great to!

  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla

Mix all ingredients and bake away!   (350 for 10 minutes)

My boss was out today, but he did stop by with his little girl….

Is she not adorable!!??

Running Shoes:

Cascadia 8

Brooks Demon Trail

I am not sure which one yet, but I really like these two… Smile

I hope you guys have a great night!!
