Whole 30!!!

Good Morning!! I know it’s been a long time since I have posted but I hope to get better at that.  What I want to do is at least post 3 days a week…..Like Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  With a fulltime job and trying to have a life, I find it difficult to post everyday.  Smile


I do have some super cool news to share with you!   I started the Whole 30 Program this past Monday!! 




For months, if not the past year, I have been trying to find something that would work for me and where I am at in my life right now.  I was pretty tired of feeling like crap all of the time and having these stupid cravings that was just continuing the whole crap feeling.  I began looking for something that would make me feel better.  I looked at supplements.  I looked at diets.  I looked at all kinds of things!  Nothing helped. 

I was surfing around Instagram one night and stumbled upon Lisa Medina Fitness and noticed that she had posted a picture of her results on the Whole 30.  I had read about it before but just wasn’t interested in giving up some things that I really liked, so I past.  As I went to bed that night, I just thought about how this might be what I need.  No pill, no shakes, no starving.  That sounds good on so many levels!

I started reading about it again and how some things had changed and improved and so I read and read.

Now I am like….”I can so do this!”

I also was interested in what foods, healthy or not, affected me.  Positively and negatively. 





I was pretty excited to find out that Lisa was going to be doing another challenge group in August and I couldn’t wait to sign up!  Three weeks going into the challenge I started to clean up my diet and go ahead and incorporate some of the things that I would eventually have to do.  Smartest decision ever! 





















I also purchased Whole 30 compliant products!











Just making these small changes I feel so much better!  And I can even tell a difference in my clothes!




It’s not much of a change, but I feel so much better! Even my workouts are better! 





I ordered the Piyo series and I am loving it!



I can’t tell you how much I love this workout! 


I was just ready for a change and this came at the perfect timing.  The food.  The workout.  Everything.  Mind, Body and Spirit.









Love these kids!!!



  • 1 cup of coffee (hot)
  • coconut milk (from the can and organic)
  • 1 tbls chocolate coconut butter



Okay..  I have tons more to share but I don’t want to put everything in one post!!

  1. – I can’t wait to try the PiYo DVDs after the baby comes 🙂 I’ve heard and seen so many great things about them. Definitely looking forward to a new type of workout.
    – I think it’s awesome that you’ve found something that you love and really works for you. I’ve considered doing the Whole 30 but never did enough research to really dive in. Maybe I’ll do a bit more research next spring while I plan to train for the half marathon in the fall. You said it helped your workouts – maybe it would help mine too 🙂

  2. I think that you will really love it Diane! It’s definitely right up my alley right now….I’m loving it!! As for the Whole 30, it’s been great learning about food and how to eat again. It’s proof that a healthy lifestyle is always about what works for you! 🙂
