Morning!   It’s still dark outside and I should still be sleeping on my day off, but something just woke me up.  Even still, I am watching this teen movie called Prom.  It’s actually not that bad, or it’s the sleepy daze that I am in.  🙂


Boy I have felt tired all week.  Lately getting up and hitting the floor at 5:00 hasn’t been all the difficult for me, but his week has been really tough for some reason.

Remember when I started having issues with my Vitamin D??  Well, Friday I took my last supplement that my doctor prescribed.  I am wondering if I need to take one (at a smaller dose) every day??  I have to go back to get my levels checked again to see what I need to do next.


Yesterday, was really a good day.  🙂  When I got to work I ran into some friends that I know and we had the best chat!  It’s funny how life gets so busy and we have this set routine and you really like to stick to it, but it’s also nice to just set down and catch up on some girl talk.  🙂  The two ladies that I ran into are both married, so it’s nice to get their imput on the relationship world.  We ended up giggling like school girls and having such a great time!  I hope that we make plans to do it again real soon!  (April, I know you are reading this!)



Yesterday when I came home, I quickly changed into my running gear and hopped on the treadmill for an easy 2 miles.

Mile One:    9.46

Total time:    19.21

Average pace:    9.36


My workout today??  I am going to do some yoga and really stretch it out.  I am also going to do some foam rolling to get my legs ready for Sunday’s long run of 7 miles.  This will be the longest that I have ever ran and I am really excited about it!  One of those nervous excitements!!

I have also been doing 20 push-ups in the morning and 20 push-ups before I go to bed.  I am also holding a plank for 30 seconds…….cause that is all that my arms can handle right now!!  🙂



Oatmeal with pumpkin spice, grapes, and one egg/egg beaters combo.



I am thinking a no make-up and bobby pin day???  🙂   My niece and nephew do have two soccer games each though, so I guess I can at least wash my hair today.  😉




I read this the other day and wanted to share:


Remember that I can fit everything into a pattern for good, including the things you wish were different.  Start with where you are at this point in time and space, accepting that this is where I intend you to be.  You will get through today one step, one moment at a time.  Your main responsibility is to remain attentive to Me, letting Me guide you through the many choices along your pathway.

Impromptu Family trip!

So after I finished work today, I headed over to my brother’s house to eat lunch and then myself, Lynn (SNL), Erin and Dalton took a spur of the moment trip to a larger town nearby to pick up some groceries.  I love groceries.  Especially the healthy kind.  I was out of yogurt, so that was on the top of my list.  😉   We were also picking up some groceries for a “healthified” pizza that Lynn and I were going to make.  Lynn is also trying to make healthier decisions, so I was completely on board for this plan!

You know, kids are just the funniest human beings sometimes.  Having cats, I don’t get to experience all of the little joys of having children, but having a niece and nephew to love on helps a whole bunch!  The kiddo’s didn’t get a N-A-P today and while we were in one of the stores we stopped at it started to show.  🙂  My nephews exact words after my SNL told him he was getting a nap when he got home, “I don’t want to take a nap!!!”  I am pretty sure tears were involved.  In fact, they were.

But this was the ride home….


After we got back into town, I headed home for a quick workout.

This is a modified version of the workout due to not having all of the equipment.


I then headed back to their house for dinner.  Remember the “healthified” pizza??  Well here it is!

In the mix: Store bought crust, pizza sauce, mushrooms, spinach, red and green bell peppers, onions, cheese, and Lynn had olives on her side.  🙂

We also watched the movie Courageous.  If you haven’t seen this movie, rent it, buy it, whatever you have to do.  Watch it.
